What is Bucking Rider?
Bucking Rider is Play’n GO’s second crash game, released in April 2025. It shares its core mechanic with Miner Donkey Rider — including CrashBack, the re-entry feature unique to Play’n GO’s crash titles — but swaps the mining theme for a wild west bull-riding arcade aesthetic.
A rider attempts to stay on a bucking bull; the multiplier climbs with each second they hold on. Cash out to collect, or use CrashBack to re-enter the round after an early exit. The bull eventually throws the rider — that’s the crash event.
How to Play Bucking Rider
- Place your bet before the round starts.
- Watch the rider hold on as the multiplier climbs.
- Cash out at any point to collect winnings at the current multiplier.
- Use CrashBack to re-stake into the active round after cashing out — same mechanic as Miner Donkey Rider.
- If the bull throws the rider before you cash out, the active bet is lost.
CrashBack
CrashBack allows re-entry into a round already in progress, after an initial early cashout. The re-entry stake is a new bet at the current (higher) multiplier, accepting the remaining probability of a crash.
See the Miner Donkey Rider review for a full breakdown of how CrashBack works and its risk implications.
Bucking Rider vs Miner Donkey Rider
Both games use identical mechanics and the same 96.2% RTP. The differences:
| Bucking Rider | Miner Donkey Rider | |
|---|---|---|
| Theme | Bull riding / arcade | Mining / donkey cart |
| Max win | 5,000x | 10,000x |
| Visual style | Bright, arcade | Earthy, underground |
Miner Donkey Rider is the stronger choice for players targeting maximum upside (10,000x vs 5,000x). Bucking Rider suits players who prefer the more immediate arcade aesthetic or the lower max win ceiling as a volatility reference point.

Verdict
Bucking Rider delivers Play’n GO’s CrashBack mechanic in a more immediately accessible visual package than Miner Donkey Rider. The lower 5,000x ceiling is a genuine limitation, and the identical RTP means the same mathematical trade-off as its sibling. For players at Play’n GO casinos who want CrashBack and prefer the arcade setting, Bucking Rider works well. If the max win ceiling matters, pick Miner Donkey Rider instead.
